Without a doubt, March 2020 was frustrating month for investors. Global stock markets plunged, oil prices crashed and most parts of the global economy slowed. The falls seem all the more shocking after a decade-long bull run in which markets surged to record high after record high.
 
Global economy: China said its Q1 GDP fell 6.8%, the first time on record it’s declined. 
US Lay-offs: Another five million US citizens filed jobless claims last week, taking the total laid off since the COVID-19 lockdown began last month to over 22 million.
